Introduction to Goldsmiths' learning programme

Artsmark works in partnership with Goldsmiths, University of London, to deliver your Artsmark CPD training and support. Our partnership aims to cultivate dynamic, creative learning environments and empower school communities to be agents of change, fostering creativity, collaboration and critical reflection within and beyond their schools.

This page outlines Goldsmiths’ learning programme, which includes both online and in-person Artsmark training modules that are available for all Artsmark settings, regardless of context or setting type.

Artsmark training modules

Your Artsmark learning journey begins with Module 1 - Artsmark e-learning module - a short, interactive online training session that gives you the basic information to begin your journey.

Then work through the Self-Assessment - do this with your colleagues and senior leaders to help identify your setting’s strengths and areas you’d like to develop on your Artsmark journey. Refer to the Artsmark Framework when completing this exercise and bring it to Module 2 - Making Change. Here you will learn how to use the findings from your self-assessment to plan and carry out action research that strengthens arts, culture and creativity in your learning community.

About 12 - 18 months after you take Module 2, you’re then ready to take Module 3 - Impact of Change where you’ll learn how to critically examine and analyse evidence and data collected during your Artsmark journey.

Begin your Artsmark journey by taking Module 1 - our online e-learning module.

Testimonial

“Goldsmiths’ training was an amazing opportunity to reflect on our commitment to the arts and our journey so far. It also gave us the tools to consider how we measure impact moving forward.”
