Artsmark in
specialist settings
Content
Do you work in special education, alternative provision or further education?
Artsmark isn’t just open to primary and secondary schools. Special schools, hospital schools, pupil referral units, virtual schools and youth offending teams can also apply.
We’ve created additional guidance for these alternative and specialist education establishments, to help you understand how Artsmark’s flexible framework is relevant and adaptable to your provision. Our guidance also explains the practical steps we’ll take to ensure that we’re sensitive to your unique context when making an assessment. It is important to us that all students benefit from an arts-rich education and we work hard to make sure Artsmark is inclusive and supportive of all our specialist settings.
Click on the links below to access guidance resources and support materials for your specialist setting. These can be used alongside our general Artsmark guidance and templates.
